Chapter 1. About mnoGoSearch
mnoGoSearch for Windows is a search engine designed to provide search on Intranet or public Web sites so customers and
visitors can quickly find and access virtually any information on a site or multiple sites. With mnoGoSearch it is possible
to build and maintain various subject-oriented search systems like cooking recipes, music downloads and news search.
To search through documents you have to index them first using the indexer component of mnoGoSearch. Indexer is a spider that
reads the documents you specify and stores information about words it finds in tables in a SQL database. You can specify what
kind (format) of documents to index, location of documents (a website, a directory on server, single webpage, etc.). You can
define the level of importance (weight) of various document properties and parts that are taken into account during searching.
There are three versions of mnoGoSearch for Windows available: they are mnoGoSearch Pro for Windows
mnoGoSearch SQL for Windows and mnoGoSearch for Windows Lite.
mnoGoSearch Pro for Windows is designed for large websites and is capable of processing large amount of data. This version uses SQL database to store
indexer information. It includes NT Service for scheduling indexations and remote administration. Pro version can be configured
remotely with Web Configurator.
mnoGoSearch SQL for Windows is designed for large websites and is capable of processing large amount of data. This version uses SQL database to store
